Kontrast Recordings was founded in 2004 by Filter Freq in the San Francisco California Bay Area.

Since then it has gone on to release music from some of the most popular names in dance music like Deadmau5, Kaskade, Donald Glaude, CZR, Chuck Love, Charles Feelgood, Dave Armstrong, David Garcia, Lost Daze, Terry Mullan, & many more while also throwing events with the world’s best DJ’s.
